Charges may be applied for bookings cancelled within 24 hours of time.
Vehicle Condition Report (VCR)
The VCR (or pre-COF) will identify COF fault items and ensure that you can fix these before your COF inspection to get a clean pass. This is essential if you have a TSL or contracts where a high safety standard is important.
Our service is friendly, practical and very cost-efficient. The team will help you get back on the road as soon as possible.
A certificate of fitness (COF) is a regular check to ensure that your vehicle meets required safety standards. Vehicles requiring this certification are:

Motorhomes over 3500kg

heavy vehicles – trucks, larger trailers

all passenger service vehicles – such as shuttles and buses

What to do when you arrive?
Enter from Waipareria Avenue and follow the lane markings. Park your vehicle, (ensure you apply the park brake and leave in gear) take your keys and take note of your licence plate number. Come up to reception and let us know you’ve arrived.
When we’re busy, it really helps if you go back to your vehicle to move it up the lane queue until you get to the lane entrance.
While you wait
You’re welcome to come in for a coffee, tea or water and read a magazine. Dogs are welcome too. Or you can leave your vehicle with us and come back later. Just let the team at reception know.
Important: You are not permitted in the inspection area unless requested and must be accompanied by a staff member at all times.
Your COF reminder
Drivesure can send you a reminder 3 weeks before your COF is due so you don’t need to remember. Just give us your mobile or email.
Note that a reminder is the only thing you will get, we don’t believe in spam!
Vehicle de-Registered?
If your vehicle has been deregistered, we can re-comply your heavy vehicle or certify a new import to get you on the road again. Just ask our team.
