Drivesure take your privacy, and the privacy of your personal and vehicle information seriously. Our access to, use of and security of personal information complies with The Privacy Act and NZTA security requirements.

All of our staff who access personal and vehicle information have been trained and approved by NZTA and relevant agencies to access this data for the purpose of delivering NZTA services. Staff all utilise individual login for access, and access is only possible via approved devices in a secure location.

We are not permitted to share any vehicle inspection or customer information with any third party unless required by Law. So we can't tell you who owns that car, nor any system information or previous inspection details unless this release has been approved by the owner or the relevant authority. And we need this approval in writing.

Drivesure are approved to access information under gazette notice and relevant NZTA Notice of Appointment. Name and address information may form part of this accessed information and can only be used for approved uses,  involving the delivery of NZTA services as required by our Notices of Appointment.

Any person may notify the Registrar that they do not wish to have their information made available. This can be done via the NZTA website (www.nzta.govt.nz/privacy)

Complaints regarding any suspected privacy breaches can be submitted to privacy@drivesure.net.nz or directly to NZTA at complaints@nzta.govt.nz.
